ABOUT LINEN

Sustainability.

Linen is natural textile derived from the fibres of flax plant, the same one that produces flax seeds for food. Linen is 30% stronger than cotton and is long lasting thanks to the long, thick fibres that are spun or woven together to form the linen fabric. It requires less water to grow comparing to other natural materials. There is a very little waste from growing flax as most parts are used either for fabric or food production. Linen is one of the oldest textiles in the world, used already in ancient Egypt.
